Bodegas Borsao was founded in 2001 as a cooperative of three wine cellars: Borja, Pozuelo and Tabuenca.
Located in the northwest of the Zaragoza province, Bodegas Borsao is known for providing exceptional wines for the price, with their $8 2008 Red Wine named as #1 on the Wine Enthusiast 100 best buys for 2010.
The Tres Picos is a lovely cherry red color with ripe red fruit on nose. A medium to full bodied, savory wine that tastes of blackberries with nice pepper and spice on the finish. The tannins are present but not overwhelming, instead providing a nice chewy feeling in the mouth.
